Open source infrastructure graphing

We’ve always believed teams should own their observability context. Today, we’re excited to announce that the core of Aptible’s knowledge graph infrastructure is becoming an open-source project.

What the open source knowledge graph does:

• Connects your AWS environments and other infrastructure to produce a unified software catalog of services, resources, and their dependencies.

  • Note: this allows you to provide agents with infrastructure context to empower SREs with tasks across reliability/observability, cost management, and security and compliance.

• Runs locally, fast: we refactored the graph builder to use async I/O, cutting build time by ~95%.

• Built for scale: instead of running at MCP startup, the graph is now generated via a separate CLI command for performance and control.
